Optics & Photonics Society is the society dedicated to ensure the development, advancement and dissemination of optics and photonics related sciences and technologies in  Türkiye; to contribute to the increase of the educational, technological development structure and scientific-technological level of optics and photonics in educational institutions, research institutions and organizations at all levels; to support the transformation of optics and photonics, which is a basic and applied element of social culture and technology, into social and technological benefits; to make efforts to encourage, evaluate and increase the contribution of Turkish Optics and Photonics (Light Scientists and Engineers) to the technological and economic development of the country and their original researches in optics and photonics, which is an interdisciplinary branch of science within pioneering technologies; to ensure professional solidarity among people who have studied in the field of optics and photonics.
